We have been working hard on the pole barn in preparation for the winter.  There are a couple of doors yet to hang, a freeze-proof waterer to plumb and electrical lines yet to run, but it’s great to finally have an “outbuilding” larger than a chicken coop on our farm.

We are building a barn! When we got to 4041 County Route 2 there were no outbuildings. Our first building project was a chicken coop, yet we longed for the day a barn could be built. We broke ground for a 36′ x 36′ pole barn in early July. The project has progressed well thanks to the expertise of some fine craftsmen that have come to our aid. The sheep will be oh-so pleased with their new winter home. We will keep you posted about our progress!
