Here, Bob, our bellwether, helps Jeromy fix the mineral feeder.  He can’t pass up posing for the camera.

We successfully raised and processed nearly 300 broiler chickens this year.  We learned a lot in the process and are really pleased with their quality.

We’ve been digging mangel beets and forage turnips to supplement the sheep’s diets over the winter.  Our dear friends Lou and Robin of Blue Heron farm worked with us to plant these crops in some spare beds at their farm.  … Continue reading →
